IAP 1.12

With the IAP 1.12 Release you will find several new features, enhancements and fixes.

Draft Item Deletion: Users can now delete draft templates, draft documents, and workspaces containing only draft documents; these items are immediately hidden to keep views clean.
Navigation & Workflow: Added a "Return to workspace" button for better navigation and removed the "Reuse Selected" confirmation step for a streamlined experience.
Direct Trace-back: Implemented direct links to parent templates within the Document Detail view and Search results grid.
Namespace Management: Playground and Default namespaces have been removed; Global namespace description updated for clarity.
GenAI Context Inheritance: Authors can now select source documents for GenAI context at the Workspace and Template levels, which new documents automatically inherit.

Fonto 8.17: Reorganized UI with new "Tools" and "View" tabs for improved navigation; "Save in dashboard" no longer triggers automatic download.
Output Formatting: Improved paragraph splitting logic to prevent large blank spaces; removed "Compatibility Mode" default for MS Word (.docx) outputs.
Table Alignment: Standardized cell alignment for manual and informal tables in regulatory output types.
DIA PS&C: Added mixed results handling (excluding 'Not applicable' rows), margin optimization, and updated metadata configuration.
PTD Basecamp: Onboarded 'Procedure Method' column with new grouping/display logic and added labeling/blacklisting for Media and Buffer solutions.

Table Generator: Resolved an error that occurred when saving edited smart table sources.
Working Document Creation: Fixed display issue where only the first author's name was visible after saving.
Output Errors: Fixed "FO PDF" labeling issue that blocked transfers to Veeva RIM.
Table Notes: Corrected the sequence of Table Notes within smart tables during output generation.
Member Management: Unblocked updating template/document members when the original creator is inactive.
Formatting: Resolved TOC and List of Tables alignment inconsistencies between IAP and RIM; fixed DIA namespace filtering.

With the IAP 1.11.1 Release you will find several new features, enhancements and fixes.

DIA PS&C Table Group: Added and made accessible within the Content Generator (CG).
DIA PS&C Initial Configuration: Configured the workspace and template types for DIA PS&C, refined the dashboard UI, and implemented detailed PS&C configurations.
Regulatory Compliance Output: Introduced "DIA - Regulatory Compliance" configuration for Customer Facing Documents to ensure standardized formatting.
Risk Metadata for DIA-CB: Added two new condition-driving fields to configure statements based on specific compliance risks.

APQR: The APQR smart table was updated with additional columns.
APQR Naming Alignment: Updated column labels and attributes in the Technical Changes Details table to match the new template automatically.
Custom DIA Dashboards: Set DIA-specific default columns for Documents and Templates to eliminate manual layout adjustments.
eVAL Roche Formatting: Automated adherence to template RGS-TMPL-0109.04, to eliminate manual formatting after output creation.
Continuous Table Numbering: Excluded untitled tables from numbering sequences and Lists of Tables to prevent gaps in generated outputs.
Veeva RIM Alignment: Synced country metadata (e.g., "USA" to "United States") to prevent RIM Vault integration failures.

Footnotes: Fixed the missing footnotes when filtering for SPEC_ID = 12391.
Template Status: Fixed the missing "Template Status" filter on the dashboard/landing page interface.
DIA Reagent Product: Fixed the missing specific products when attempting to create a Workspace.

Hemingway Integration: Integrated GenAI capabilities for Regulatory Submission.
Namespaces: Preconfigured namespaces to separate the various use cases.
Content Reuse: Authors can now browse, search, and select components from existing documents (latest version) during creation.
Fonto 8.16 Sidebar: Added a new sidebar containing lists of all table, image, and equation figures in a publication.
Fonto 8.16 Conditions: Users can now set conditions on images.

DIA Output: Unified Custom Biotech Output for DOCX and PDF and automated the Version Numbering process.
Output Formatting: Harmonized PDF export formatting to preserve subscripts and superscripts.
Table Alignment: Standardized table cell alignment (header row bottom center, row header top left, data cells top center).
List of Figures (LoF): Improved logic to correctly render cross-references from within table cells and exclude untitled figures.
Output Pagination: Improved paragraph splitting to prevent large blank spaces and unintended new pages.
APQR: The APQR Technical Changes Details smart table was updated with additional fields.

Graph Generator: Fixed the "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map')" error.
Product Variants: Resolved data and reordering issues for Product Variants in Workspace/WD metadata creation.
Bookmarks: Fixed empty bookmarks issue by omitting untitled equations from the Navigation Pane.
Favorites: Ensured previously selected "Favorites" remain visible after clearing browser data.
Headings: Fixed inconsistent spacing and rendering for Headings 7-9 in Regulatory Submission output format.
Table Continuation: Fixed unnecessary table continuation in document output.
